Learn Beyond the Classroom

MATSYA L.S.A KHERLI — प्रायोगिक एवं मैदानी प्रशिक्षण

Bridging Theory With Real Animal Handling Skills

सैद्धांतिक ज्ञान को व्यावहारिक कुशलता में बदलना

In animal healthcare, practical dexterity is as critical as theoretical knowledge. A Livestock Assistant must possess the calmness and skill to safely approach a nervous animal, examine vital indicators, support a veterinary surgeon during minor procedures, and guide livestock farmers with confidence.

At MATSYA L.S.A KHERLI, regular lab sessions and guided dairy farm visits ensure that students encounter real-life veterinary scenarios, master instrument sterilization, and practice essential animal care protocols under expert supervision.

Safety & Animal Welfare: All practical demonstrations adhere to strict humane treatment standards. Animals are handled with care, avoiding undue stress, and safety protocols for trainees and animals are strictly enforced.

Core Practical Competencies

Live Animal Restraint: Safe rope casting, muzzle application, and crush restraint.
Clinical Preparation: Antiseptic wound cleansing, bandaging, dressing, and splinting.
Administration Support: Preparing oral drenching, bolus administration, and topical ointments.
Diagnostic Sampling: Milk strip cup test, fecal sample collection, and blood smear making.
